Tourist attractions
Dinosaurs are not the only tourist attraction of the region as it is also characterized by the natural richness of the Stobrawa-Turawa Woods and the Mała Panew River course and its numerous, picturesque tributaries. Kolonowskie offers canoeing attractions on the local „Amazon” river, which flows into the Turawa Lakes in the Ozimek commune. The lakes’ area offers resorts with plenty of accommodation choices and a wide selection of water activities. Ozimek prides itself on the oldest cast iron suspension bridge in Europe, erected in 1827. There is also an 1819 Evangelical church there, which is the highest category historical monument. When in Krasiejów, it is highly recommended to take a look at the neo-baroque Catholic church built in 1911-1913.
The areas attractive with respect to tourism development have been traced in Ozimek. There are numerous sites ideal for investments and the development of infrastructure, both in the vicinity of the Dinopark in Krasiejów and in the area surrounding it. New camp sites, museums, nature and forest chambers and attractive resting areas are being created along the bicycle paths in Mała Panew. Also those interested in horseback riding, fishing and mushroom picking will find what they are looking for right here.
